Have you thanked them? I’m not sure I did, and in a couple of instances, it’s too late. The earliest recollection I have of fishing came at the Jersey Shore, not too far from where I grew up. I couldn’t have even been school age as I stood at ... Publ.Date : Sat, 17 May 2008 06:34:00 GMT

Hello, my name is Jim Bailey and I'd like to welcome you to my new blog. As my website indicates, I generally write about most things piscatorial and try to provide helpful information on flies, techniques, lakes and streams and anything else remotely linked to fly fishing.
Spring is taking its time in getting here. Last year at this time I was already chironomid fishing on Rosebud Lake but this year it is still locked in the icy grip of winter. It will most likely be ice-free in the next week or two. Until then I will continue fly fishing the Columbia. The water is low and access good for wading. Beaver Creek Park is open and run-off of the creek stalled due to cool weather so the fishing should be decent. Last week I landed one nice rainbow and had a few hard hits as well. I've been using a sink tip with stonefly nymphs and shaggy buggers but soon the salmon flies will be hatching and I'll switch to large adult salmon fly patterns (when and if the warm weather arrives).
I wish everyone good luck in all their pursuits and if you have any news on fly fishing or just want to say hi, post a comment and I'll reply.
Keep your tip up, Jim Publ.Date : Wed, 23 Apr 2008 21:13:00 +0000
